JOB OVERVIEW
  • Ensure full compliance with Singapore’s statutory audit and tax requirements for all legal entities.
  • Act as the key contact for statutory audit coordination and tax filing processes.
  • Support internal financial reporting, budgeting, and financial analysis activities.
  • Assist senior management by providing accurate financial data and documentation to support decision-making and ensure adherence to regulatory deadlines and group requirements.
  • Serve as a business support partner while adhering to DSV’s policies and guidelines

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Tax Compliance
  • Prepare and submit all Singapore tax filings (e.g., GST) in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Coordinate with tax agents for the preparation and filing of annual corporate income tax returns.
  • Compute monthly tax provisions and maintain deferred tax records; update group tax systems accordingly.
  • Maintain and update transfer pricing documentation; manage queries and audits from tax authorities (IRAS, Customs).
  • Ensure compliance with Singapore tax regulations and manage documentation for exemptions or incentives.

Statutory Audit
  • Coordinate and manage statutory audits for all Singapore legal entities, ensuring compliance with local and group deadlines.
  • Liaise with external auditors, shared service centers, and internal teams to prepare audit schedules and provide required documentation.
  • Track audit progress and ensure timely completion and resolution of audit findings.
  • Provide support for group-level audits when required.

Financial Reporting Support
  • Assist in the preparation of monthly and quarterly internal financial reports.
  • Support the compilation of reports for legal, insurance, tax, and regulatory compliance.
  • Assist in preparing presentation materials for internal reviews and management meetings.
  • Coordinate submissions to the Department of Statistics Singapore.

Budgeting and Planning Support
  • Assist in annual budgeting process by preparing templates and gathering data from departments.
  • Enter and validate budget data in the relevant systems.
  • Support timeline tracking and provide explanations for variances as directed by reporting manager.

Process & Systems Support
  • Support continuous improvement efforts and help implement process automation.
  • Assist in financial system use (SAP, Excel, Power BI, CargoWise where applicable) to enhance efficiency.
  • Collaborate with shared service teams to ensure data accuracy and operational flow.

OTHER DUTIES
  • Adhere to the Code of Conduct policy of the DSV Group
  • Any other job-related tasks as assigned by the superior

QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
  • 3–5 years’ relevant experience in statutory audit and/or tax compliance in Singapore.
  • Good understanding of local tax laws, IRAS regulations, and statutory audit processes.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel; experience with SAP and/or freight forwarding systems (e.g., CargoWise) is an advantage.
  • Strong analytical, documentation, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently, manage timelines, and handle pressure during peak periods.
