Job summary

ESI an MKS Brand in Singapore is seeking an Assembly Technician to build, set up, test, and prepare large high-tech machines for shipment. This is a hands-on role where you follow step-by-step instructions and work with tools to ensure the equipment is safe, accurate, and high quality.

You will assemble mechanical and electrical components, align laser optics, calibrate equipment, and support delivery with vendors.

Qualifications

• Higher NITEC or Diploma in Mechanical, Electrical, or Mechatronics Engineering.
• Hands-on technical work and building machines.
• Willing to learn new skills and take on more responsibilities.
• Overtime and rotating/night shifts are required.
• Training will be provided.

Responsibilities

• Assemble mechanical and electrical parts of machines
• Align laser optics and perform machine testing
• Calibrate equipment to make sure it works correctly
• Prepare machines for delivery together with vendors
• Check materials and ensure production schedules are met
• Perform basic maintenance to keep equipment in good condition
• Use simple testing tools to check and fix problems
• Work on more than one type of machine after training
