This is a 20 hours/week role which does not require you to work every working day.

Job Purpose
  • The Admissions team’s primary focus is on guiding families through the application process and helping families prepare for the start of school. It is vital that new parents and students feel supported and welcomed into our school.
  • This role plays a key part in meeting the Marketing and Admissions department’s new student number targets. The Admissions Administrator will support Admissions Officers in administrative tasks related to new student applications and students who are withdrawing from GESS.
Key Accountabilities
Administration and other tasks
  • Creating and maintaining student files.
  • Monitoring and responding to emails received in the shared admissions@gess.sg inbox.
  • Maintaining accurate student records and recording all application information in Veracross CRM system.
  • Checking new student records for data accuracy and following up with families for missing information.
  • Ensuring all new students have a valid immigration pass.
  • Processing Student’s Pass applications.
  • Creating new student files.
  • Sending out letter of offers and student contracts.
  • Printing Student ID cards and taking photos where necessary.
  • Processing withdrawing students.
  • Performing other administrative/data entry tasks as assigned.
Assessment Management
  • Managing assessment bookings and liaising with families.
  • Invigilating assessments ensuring strict compliance with rules.
  • Uploading results into the application portal and Veracross CRM.
Knowledge And Experience
  • Previous administrative or office experience preferred.
  • No previous experience of working in a school is required.
Technical And Soft Skills
  • Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage tasks independently.
  • Proficient in spoken and written English.
  • Excellent computer skills (MS Word, Excel, Outlook, Database/CRM systems).
  • Must be able to work during school holidays.
Problem Solving / Decision Making Level and Freedom
  • Follow instructions and directives as given by the Director of Marketing and Admissions and Admissions Team Leader.
