A leading government agency is seeking an Administrative Manager to oversee communication and engagement strategies while managing customer relationships for HDB services. The role includes budget oversight, administrative coordination, and the possibility of rotation to customer relations. Ideal candidates will exhibit strong analytical and inter-personal skills and be proficient in Microsoft Office applications, with a focus on maintaining excellent customer service.
Administrative Manager
You will oversee the group's communication and engagement strategy, including planning, drafting, and disseminating internal circulars. Your role includes managing assets and championing good procurement and payment procedures. You will support budget planning and control processes while providing assistance for Whole-of-Government Information and Communications Technology related matters. The role involves coordinating administrative functions such as preparing reports, presentations, and other documents. Your work will require you to liaise with both internal and external customers.
During your employment, you may also be rotated to take on the role of a Customer Relations Manager, to deliver quality services to applicants and residents of HDB flats and facilitate home ownership. You will be involved in assessing applicants’ eligibility to buy a new/resale HDB flat, receive CPF housing grants, and take an HDB housing loan, providing guidance towards informed housing and prudent financing decisions or processing of the sale or resale transactions of HDB flats. You will assess and respond to appeals from customers who deviate from the eligibility conditions to buy an HDB flat, prepare case reports, and draft submissions for management’s consideration for deserving cases. Your duties also include the day-to-day liaison with applicants/residents, solicitors, and relevant agencies.
You should have a keen eye for detail, strong analytical and decision-making abilities, and excellent interpersonal, writing, and communication skills. As a good team player, you must be able to build rapport at all levels while maintaining a customer-service mindset and working independently. The role requires proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), strong organisational skills, and keen attention to deadlines.
Successful candidates will be offered a 1+1 year contract.
