About the Company

JL Cable Detection Pte Ltd is a Singapore-based company specializing in underground utility detection, ground penetrating radar (GPR), cable detection, trial trenching, pipe laying, and earth retaining and stabilizing structure (ERSS) services. We work closely with construction and engineering firms to deliver accurate and safe detection services for major infrastructure projects.

We are hiring an Administrative Executive to support daily operations and finance-related tasks. This is a great entry-level opportunity for someone interested in construction admin, office management, or basic accounting roles.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Process and manage workers’ monthly salary, overtime (OT), and other payroll matters
  • Assist with office administrative duties, such as filing and documentation
  • Perform basic bookkeeping using Xero software (training provided)
  • Track and follow up on progress claims and payment statuses from clients
  • Communicate with clients for project updates and documentation
  • Answer and manage incoming phone calls, emails, and walk-in queries
  • No prior experience required (related experience will be a bonus)
  • O-Level / ITE / Polytechnic qualification, preferably in Business Administration or a related field
  • Only open to Singapore Citizens or Permanent Residents (PR)
  • Good communication skills and a responsible attitude
  • Willingness to learn and take ownership of tasks
Job Requirements
  • Minimum O-Level / ITE / Polytechnic qualification, preferably in Business Administration, Office Skills, or Accountancy

  • Must be Singaporean or Permanent Resident (PR)

  • Willingness to learn new systems and take initiative
Preferred Skills (Bonus if you have):
  • Experience in Xero, basic payroll, or construction admin
