Job summary

A local engineering company in Singapore is seeking an Administrative Assistant to support general administrative and accounting functions. The role requires proficiency in Microsoft Office and the ability to communicate in English and Mandarin to liaise with stakeholders. Candidates should possess a positive attitude and be able to thrive in a fast-paced environment. This is a full-time position with a 5-day work week and opportunities for overtime.

Qualifications

  • At least 1 year of working experience in the related field (optional).
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced and multi-tasking environment.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in General administrative duties.
  • Assist in Daily Accounting functions.
  • Assist in Processing supplier invoices and PO.
  • Assist with monthly payroll process.
  • Provide support for annual audit preparations.

Skills

Proficiency in Microsoft Office
Ability to communicate in English & Mandarin
Experience in Accounts Payable (AP) & Accounts Receivable (AR)

Overview
  • Probation Period: 3 months
  • 5-Days Work Week
  • Working Hours: 830am - 6pm
  • Working Location: Yishun

Responsibilities
  • Assist in General administrative duties (i.e: office documentation, filing systems, and record-keeping) and other support work
  • Assist in Daily Accounting functions like Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), and Fixed Assets Management
  • Assist in Process supplier invoices and PO
  • Assist in monthly payroll process
  • Assist with annual audit preparationss
  • Provide support and any other ad-hoc duties as assigned by both Directors
  • Possess positive learning attitude, good team player & willing to learn
  • At least 1 year of working experience in the related field (optional)
  • Candidates who’re able to converse in both English & Mandarin preferred, need to liaise with Chinese speaking stakeholders
  • Able to be communicate with workers time to time when needed
  • Answer phone calls and direct them to the appropriate staff member
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced and multi-tasking environment
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Excel, Power Point
  • Able to work overtime if needed
  • Minimum O\'level education
  • Must at least know AR,AP&GL
