A leading company in the drilling industry is seeking an Admin Assistant to enhance policy processing and documentation efficiency. You will be responsible for ensuring quality service, collaborating with the underwriting team, and maintaining accurate documentation. This role requires a diploma, relevant certifications, and a minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar position. Ideal candidates will possess strong interpersonal skills and be organized and meticulous in their work.

Qualifications

  • Minimally Diploma or equivalent.
  • 3-5 years’ experience in processing commercial and/or personal lines.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office required.

Responsibilities

  • Process policy documentation including new, renewals, endorsements, etc.
  • Work closely with Underwriters to meet quality standards.
  • Maintain accurate records according to internal systems.

Job description

Key Job Purpose

As an Admin Assistant, you will play a pivotal role in the efficiency of our policy processing, documentation, and administration matters ensuring the service quality of our external & internal customers in terms of output and within the turnaround time.


Your main responsibilities would include:

  • Processing various types of line of business and policy documentation (including new, renewals, endorsements, cancellation, reinsurance, etc).
  • Working closely with the Underwriters to ensure policies are issued according to the customer’s requirements within the turnaround time to ensure quality output and service standards.
  • Ensuring all documentations, data registered into the core system, and calculations (including premium, commission, reinsurance, fees and taxes, etc) are accurate by means of maker-checker system and exceptional reports.
  • Ensuring reinsurance, retention and risk accumulation are processed in accordance with the Company’s table of limits and guidelines.
  • Maintaining all necessary records and documents according to internal filing system.
  • Identifying areas for improvement to increase operational efficiency and output quality.
  • Producing the necessary reports for Management and audit purposes.
  • Undertake any other duties as may be assigned

Requirements

  • Minimally Diploma or equivalent
  • Possess BCP/CGI/PGI/HI Certification
  • Minimally 3-5 years’ experience in processing the commercial and/or personal lines
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office
  • Excellent customer-mindedness with good interpersonal and communications skills
  • Meticulous, organised and able to multi-task efficiently
  • Love problem solving, able to work both independently and in a team
