Job Summary:

The Administrative Assistant will support the day-to-day operations of the Academic Administration Department. This entry-level role is ideal for a detail-oriented individual who is organized, responsible, and eager to learn. The role involves handling student records, coordinating class schedules, providing administrative support to academic staff, and ensuring smooth communication within the department.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support student orientation processes
  • Maintain and update student records and academic databases accurately and confidentially
  • Assist in preparing class schedules, course materials, and academic resources
  • Liaise with lecturers and students on academic-related matters
  • Assist in monitoring student attendance and academic performance tracking
  • Support assessment processes
  • Support in administering and managing student groups and activities
  • Maintain filing systems, both electronic and physical, to ensure efficient document retrieval
  • Perform other administrative duties as assigned by the supervisor

Requirements:

  • Diploma in Business Administration, Office Management, or a related discipline
  • 0–2 years of relevant administrative experience (fresh graduates are welcome)
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced academic environment
