A local marine engineering firm in Singapore seeks an Administrative Officer to manage clerical tasks and act as the first point of contact for clients. The successful candidate will provide administrative support, handle bookkeeping responsibilities, and liaise with various external entities. Candidates should have experience in both construction and marine sectors, along with sound knowledge of MOM procedures.
Performing administrative and clerical tasks, such as data entry, preparing payment vouchers, generating reports and statements, filing paperwork, and liaising with clients on payment matters.
Having working experience in both construction and marine sectors.
Acting as the first point of contact when dealing with staff, suppliers, and clients regarding correspondence.
Drafting documents or letters as necessary, demonstrating good written communication skills.
Providing administrative support to management to ensure smooth company operations.
Handling partial or full sets of accounting (AP/AR/GL).
Responsible for daily bookkeeping, accounts receivables & payables, and other related duties.
Liaising with external accountants, auditors, tax agents, corporate secretaries, bankers, etc.
Performing additional accounting/finance duties as required.
Possessing sound knowledge of MOM procedures, including applying, renewing, and canceling passes.
