Job Title: Administrative Assistant (Tuition Centre)
Work Location: Edify: Math & Science, 1019 Upper Serangoon Rd, #02-01, Singapore 534757 and/or 925 Yishun Central 1, #01-247, Singapore 760925
Working Hours: 5.5 days per week Tue–Sat full days, Sun half day
Salary Range: S$1,600 – S$2,000 (depending on experience)
Rest Days: 1 rest day per week (weekday, to be discussed)

Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated and responsible Administrative Assistant to join our growing tuition centre. The ideal candidate should be organised, customer-oriented, and able to multitask in a fast-paced educational setting.

Key Responsibilities

1. Front Desk & Customer Service

  • Answer phone calls, WhatsApp messages, and respond to parent enquiries promptly
  • Greet walk-in parents/students and assist with basic queries
  • Follow up with absent students for makeup classes

2. Administrative Duties

  • Issue monthly invoices and track payments
  • Maintain accurate attendance records
  • Update student databases and schedules
  • Help in generating and printing worksheets when required

3. Operations Support

  • Assist in organising physical or online classes (e.g., Zoom setup, student reminders)
  • Ensure classrooms and centre spaces are tidy and presentable
  • Liaise with tutors to relay messages from parents or management

4. Ad-hoc Tasks

  • Support management in tuition centre operations as needed
  • May be asked to assist in simple promotional or outreach efforts (e.g., flyer distribution coordination)
Requirements
  • Minimum GCE O-Level or equivalent
  • Proficient in written and spoken English and Mandarin
  • Basic IT skills (Microsoft Word, Excel, Google Workspace, Zoom)
  • Good interpersonal skills and a team player
  • Organised, responsible, and willing to learn
  • Able to work on weekends (off day will be scheduled on a weekday)
