Job description

The MedTech Catapult has a dedicated objective of curating and accelerating the development of high potential MedTech projects through an in-house product engineering unit. The objectives of the Programme Office are to develop strategies and seed partnerships to support Catapult activities. The Associate will report to the Senior Assistant Director, Programme & Grant Operations at MedTech Catapult.

Job Responsibilities

  • Provide secretarial, administrative, and logistical support (e.g. meeting scheduling, material collation, venue setup, claims, payments etc.)
  • Assist with calendar management and scheduling for the Programme Director, Lead of Programmes, Lead of R&D, Deputy Product Director, and key meetings of the MedTech Catapult Programme Office, including Steering Committee and Project Evaluation Committee meetings.
  • Vendor management, including liaison with vendors for quotations, procurement, invoicing, and processing payments for external consultants and advisors.
  • Support basic marketing and administrative activities, including email communications for key events, meetings, and ecosystem engagement.
  • Assist in trip planning and management.
  • Liaise with various internal and corporate departments to handle administrative requests and queries.
  • Assist in knowledge management through housekeeping, documentation archiving, and maintaining office inventory.
  • Support quality documentation activities, including maintaining, updating, and organising quality-related documents and records.
  • Provide support for laboratory safety, including assisting in the preparation, maintenance, and archiving of lab safety documentation and related administrative tasks.
  • Manage office inventory and facilities, and support other operational activities of the Programme Office as required.

Requirements

  • Diploma, preferably in marketing and communications
  • 2-3 years of relevant working experience would be preferred
  • Competent in computer skills (especially Word, MS Excel, Outlook)
  • Proficient in online meeting platforms such as MS Teams, Zoom, Webex
  • Possesses good communication and interpersonal skills
