Job description

Job Title: Admin Officer

Reports to: Executive Director of Singapore Women’s Association

Job Description: We are looking for part time Admin Officer. The Admin Officer will be responsible for providing administrative support to ensure efficient operation of the SWA. Working hours is 21 hours per week.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Record Keeping: Assist in maintaining records, including reports, inventories, requisitions, etc., necessary for the operation of SWA.
  • Mail Processing: Process incoming mails/emails and assist in the preparation of reports and correspondences using database and Microsoft Word.
  • Invoice and Payment Processing: Prepare Payment Vouchers, issue Receipts, process payments and file accounting documents and records.
  • File and Record Maintenance: Maintain files and records in accordance with established rules, laws, and regulations.
  • Community Projects and Events: Assist in the implementation and coordination of SWA’s community projects and events planning. Assist in procuring office supplies and sundries items for office/events.
  • Clerical Duties: Perform clerical duties as assigned and/or as needed.

Required Qualifications:

  • Education: Diploma or equivalent
  • Experience: experience as an administrative executive or similar roles
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in MS Office
  • Excellent communications and interpersonal skills
  • Strong independent working ability, keen to learn and adapt to new technologies, with a positive learning attitude
  • Willing to work on non-working hours and days to attend board meetings and major events.
