Job description

Job Duties:
  1. Coordinate with design and other departments to ensure all work functions smoothly.
  2. Handle phone calls.
  3. Manage all aspects of accounting and financial matters, including year-end audit procedures, quarterly GST reporting, verification of income tax computations, and preparation of reports/responses to government statutory boards.
  4. Perform daily accounting duties such as Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, and staff claims reimbursement.
  5. Handle day-to-day accounting and administrative duties.
  6. Manage HR functions including work pass applications, renewals, cancellations, and IR8A/IR21 submissions.
  7. Assist with accounts payable and receivable processes.
  8. Implement corrective actions as directed by management.
  9. Handle additional tasks as assigned by management.
  10. Test, document, report, and monitor internal controls regularly.
  11. Verify transactions are posted to appropriate accounts and payments are properly authorized.
  12. Conduct daily bank reconciliations to ensure accurate recording of incoming funds and deductions.
  13. Assist with internal and external audits and prepare audit schedules.
  14. Perform other ad-hoc duties as assigned.
Requirements:
  1. Diploma in Accountancy or relevant qualification in Accounting.
  2. Preferably two years of combined administrative and accounting experience.
  3. Ability to work independently and as part of a team, demonstrating initiative.
  4. Proficient in multitasking, meticulous, and attentive to detail.
  5. Innovative and adaptable to industry changes.
  6. Excellent written and spoken English and Chinese communication skills, including presentation skills; ability to liaise with Chinese-speaking associates regarding financial operations.
  7. Computer literate with strong knowledge of MS Office and accounting software.
  8. Able to start immediately or on short notice.
