Job description

Job Description:

  • Monitor and track labour charges for each project with accuracy.
  • Prepare and process purchase requests in accordance with project needs.
  • Coordinate with suppliers regarding quotations, invoices, and delivery schedules.
  • Use the SAP system for inputting purchase requests (PR) and purchase orders (PO), and follow up on approval processes.
  • Manage document control for the Railway division, including incoming and outgoing correspondence.
  • Draft and prepare outgoing letters and related documentation.
  • Provide general administrative support to engineers (e.g., stationery management, claims processing, internal functions).
  • Assist with document submissions, ensuring timeliness and compliance with deadlines.
  • Support the preparation of electrical drawings (e.g., room layouts, single-line diagrams) where required.

Job Requirements:

  • Diploma or Degree in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD and MicroStation is required; familiarity with BIM is an advantage but not essential.
  • Preferably 4 years of experience working with medium voltage switchgear and transformers, though not mandatory.
  • Experience in the railway industry is a plus.
  • Resourceful and well-organized, with strong time management and problem-solving abilities.
  • Able to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Willing to work on weekends when necessary.
