The Merchandising Assistant will play a key part in supporting all aspects of merchandising tasks pertaining to Pre-owned gold products.
Inventory, Operation and Administrative Support
Job scope includes but not limited to:
Stocks receiving for trade-in products and/or unredeemed pledges (LOF)
Verification of Trade-in stocks and/or Unredeemed pledges gold purity
Identify the gold for re-furbish/repair to re-sell or scrap
Communication of stocks’ issues with ICs/ valuers for clarification
Bulk-in of stocks into inventory management. High volume expected.
Data processing with good data accuracy.
Price Tagging of products
Assist with other merchandising-related activities as assigned
Merchandising Reporting
Archiving the Bulk-in files for traceability (Excel spreadsheet file)
Proper filing of hard copy TIP (Trade-in payment) forms and/or Unredeemed report and Disposal reports. Storage for 6 months before physical scrap.
Weekly Unredeemed progress status report
Import / Export permit communication with vendor
Support Invoice / PO creation via Navision / Medius Flow for payment to vendor
Arrange scrap gold collection with refiners
Follow up on scrap gold payment
Updating and tracking of scrap gold transactions
Update data and generate ad-hoc reports as and when as required
