Job description

The Job

The Repair Shop Administrator position requires a collaborative approach to co-ordinate the activities of all stakeholders, contributing to our company’s compliance with SPT/TAT obligations at all times. They will do so by planning and scheduling the repair shop’s daily/weekly/monthly repairs for technicians in each repair section, including Change of Schedules, to ensure daily production requirements are achieved to meet customers’ expectation.

Job Responsibilities

  • Ensure all planned daily/weekly/monthly repairs are fully aligned with production repair status and communicated to workshop supervisor, section leaders and technicians.
  • Co-ordinate with all internal teams to expedite flow of materials and documents to meet production schedule and customer expectation.
  • Assist Section Leader in liaising closely with the shop repair status and establishing repairs priority schedules.
  • Daily updates of parts shortage, manpower utilisation and time tracking monitoring and reports.
  • Daily updates on the weekly report for Shop Repair Status Reports.
  • Pro-actively & continuously identify improvements opportunities in existing work methods & process to maximise operational efficiency
  • Any other ad-hoc duties as assigned

Job Requirements

  • Diploma in Production/Inventory Management or similar discipline, with minimum 3 years of related experience in inventory/production planning
  • Experience in Aerospace MRO environment/industry is an advantage
  • Knowledge of BANN/E-Lirom for production planning and monitoring and execution of work orders and time tracking.
  • Knowledge/exposure in Power BI is an advantage
  • Keen ability to analyse statistics and spot trends
  • Good verbal and written communication skills
  • Team player with good decision-making skills
  • Ability to work with tight deadlines
  • May be required to stay beyond working hours if situation dictates
