Job summary

A leading company in the Marine Industry is seeking a Technical Admin Assistant to support their operations in Singapore. The role involves managing correspondence, assisting with technical documentation, and ensuring effective communication within teams. Ideal candidates will have a diploma in business administration and proven administrative experience, preferably in the marine sector, alongside excellent organizational and communication skills.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 2 years experience as Technical Admin Assistant or in a corporate administrative role.
  • Proficient in English and Mandarin; Bahasa Malaysia is a plus.
  • Experience in Marine Industries is favorable.

Responsibilities

  • Manage correspondence and prepare reports and presentations.
  • Assist Technical and Safety teams with documentation.
  • Ensure effective internal and external communications.

Job description

Job Responsibilities:

  • Manage incoming and outgoing correspondence, including emails & messages appropriately
  • Draft and prepare official correspondence, reports, and presentations as required.
  • Assist Technical and Safety on tasks / filling & deadlines
  • Ensure & assist effective corporate communications both internally (within Singapore office, within the group companies), and to support corporate on external communications
  • Prepare meeting agendas, take minutes
  • Follow up on action from Technical Team and Safety Team on items and ensure timely completion.
  • Provide other administrative support.
  • Responsible for administrative on technical doc and safety doc filling support.
  • Undertake any other ad-hoc administrative technical support duties assigned by ED.

Job Requirements:

  • Diploma in business administration or relative field; additional qualifications in office administration or related fields are a plus.
  • At least 2 years of proven experience as Technical Admin assistant, or in a similar administrative role in corporatene management.
  • If you have experience working in a Marine Industries company is a plus.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and work under pressure.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with attention to detail.
  • Proficient in using MS Office, including word processing, spreadsheet, and presentation applications.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
  • Good command & written communication skills in English and Mandarin, Bahasa Malaysia is a plus - to liaise with multilingual associates
  • Flexibility and adaptability to manage multiple tasks and changing priorities
  • Those with Marine background are most well come.
