Job description

Job Responsibilities

  • Performing administrative duties such as data entry, filing, and document management. Organizing and maintaining physical and digital files.
  • Handling petty cash/other cash transactions
  • Managing office correspondence (emails, letters, phone calls).
  • Check, verify, and process expense claims and reimbursements
  • Assisting with office supplies procurement, maintaining office equipment, and coordinating maintenance and repairs.
  • Perform daily accounting tasks: data entry, invoice processing, Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) support
  • Assist in managing the day-to-day operation of the accounts department.
  • Assist in quarterly GST returns.
  • Prepare and send monthly Statements of Accounts (SOA) to customers, resolving any issues as needed.
  • Reconcile bank statements and ensure financial accuracy
  • Assist with monthly financial reports and Sales reporting.
  • Process employee expense claims and reimbursements
  • Maintaining confidentiality and protecting sensitive financial information
  • Assist in daily ad-hoc administrative and accounts matters.

Requirements

  • GCE ‘O' / “A” level/Nitec/Diploma (Fresh graduates are welcome)
  • Possess at least a GCE ‘O' / “A” level/Nitec/LCCI/Diploma qualification in accounting or equivalent.
  • 1-2 years of experience in an accounting assistant role
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in using accounting software, spreadsheets, and other office applications
  • A keen interest in learning and developing your accounting knowledge
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Adaptable to a fast-paced and dynamic environment
  • Working Location: Yishun
  • Full-Time 5.5Day Week (Alternate Saturday)
