A leading company in Singapore is seeking an Admin & Accounts Assistant to enhance their operational efficiency. The ideal candidate will perform essential administrative and finance support tasks, ensuring organized records and smooth operations. Candidates with 1-3 years of experience and proficiency in accounting software, particularly XERO, are encouraged to apply.
Job Title: Admin & Accounts Assistant
Monthly Salary: UP to $3000 (Negotiable)
Working hours: 5 days work week. Monday to Friday. 9am to 5pm
Responsibilities and duties
This role combines administrative responsibilities with finance support, contributing to the smooth day-to-day operations of the company.
Key Responsibilities:
Accounting Support:
- Documentation & Data Entry: Assist in preparing and processing invoices, payment vouchers, and receipts.
- Bookkeeping: Support basic bookkeeping tasks, including accounts payable and receivable tracking.
- Reconciliation: Help with bank and petty cash reconciliations, and maintain up-to-date financial records.
- Filing & Records: Maintain accurate and organized records of financial documents for audit and reporting purposes.
- Assistance in Reporting: Support the preparation of monthly reports and provide assistance during internal and external audits.
Administrative Support:
- Office Management: Monitor and manage office supplies, equipment, and vendor coordination.
- Scheduling & Coordination: Arrange meetings, appointments, and internal schedules as required.
- Communication: Handle general communication such as answering phone calls, managing emails, and responding via WhatsApp, WeChat, or other platforms.
- Document Management: Maintain filing systems (both electronic and physical) for administrative and accounting documents.
- Support: Provide general assistance to the team and management for administrative or finance-related projects and tasks as needed.
- Other Duties: Perform other duties as assigned, including assisting with special projects and initiatives.
Qualification and Requirements
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate's degree or higher preferred.
- Experience:1-3 years of experience in Admin & Accounts or related roles.
- Skills: Strong organizational and communication skill; proficiency in XERO software will be an advantage.
- Knowledge: Familiarity with simple accounts and finance
- Others: Ability to work independently and as part of a team, attention to detail, and a strong work ethic.
