Job summary

A recruitment agency in Singapore is seeking a candidate with at least 3 years of experience in Letter of Credit (LC) preparation and documentation. Responsibilities include handling LC documentation and assisting with simple accounting tasks. The ideal candidate should possess a Diploma in Business Administration and be proficient in Microsoft Office. Training will be provided for skill enhancement.

Job description

Responsibilities:

Administrative Support

  • Prepare, verify, and process LC documentation in compliance with contractual and banking requirements.

  • Maintain proper filing systems for finance and LC documents.

  • Handle correspondence, emails, and calls related to finance and trade documentation.

  • Coordinate with internal teams, suppliers, and customers to ensure smooth operations.

  • Perform ad hoc administrative tasks as assigned by management.

Accounting Functions

  • Assist the Accounting Manager in handling simple accounting task.

  • Ensure timely and accurate data entry into accounting systems.

  • Assist in month-end closing and reconciliation tasks.

Requirements:

  • Diploma in Business Administration, or related field.

  • At least 3 years of relevant working experience in Letter of Credit (LC) preparation and documentation.

  • Proficient in handling LC contracts and financial figures accurately.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

  • Proactive and willing to take on new tasks and responsibilities.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word).
