Job summary

[What you will be working on]

Responsibilities

The appointee will be required to teach in the day the following areas:

  • Digital skills modules (digital communication - leveraging social media and digital tools/platforms to craft impactful messages, digital collaboration, data storytelling, personal branding) and/or
  • Communication modules (oral presentation, teamwork and effective interpersonal communication, oral and written communication for work, report writing, proposal writing); and/or
  • Modules related to current affairs and issues of enduring interest, for the application of skills such as information literacy, critical reasoning, argumentation and persuasion skills; understanding issues and perspectives, design thinking, analysis and presentation of an informed point of view orally and in writing


Requirements

Relevant qualification in English Language/Applied Linguistics/Mass Communication/Communication Studies/Arts and Social Sciences.

Preference will be given to those with relevant qualifications in Teaching or Education and teaching/training experience especially at the tertiary level.

Proficiency in the use of social media and digital tools for teaching would be desirable.

Applicants who require work passes need not apply for this position.

Successful candidate will be offered contract (renewable) on a semestral basis.
