Job summary

General Reinsurance AG Singapore Branch invites a full-time intern to join the Asia Life/Health team. You will support analytical and administrative tasks related to critical illness insurance, including industry studies, experience analyses, and portfolio monitoring.

The role offers exposure to data analytics and AI initiatives within a global reinsurance environment. Ideal candidates are pursuing actuarial science or related quantitative fields, with comfort in R and Python and strong

Qualifications

• Actuarial/science degree or diploma student in a quantitative field.
• Knowledge of statistical software such as R and Python is advantageous.
• Experience in handling large volumes of data.
• Excellent written and spoken English.

Responsibilities

• Assist in industry studies and experience analysis for CI products.
• Support survey results presentations.

Your Role

You are a member of thethe Asia Life/Health team supportingvarious Critical Illness (CI) related analytical and administrative tasks.

Your Key Responsibilities

• Assist in conducting industry studies and experience analysis for critical illness insurance products


• Provide support in survey results presentations


• Provide support in portfolio monitoring, keep track of critical illness products development and work closely with the account management and actuarial teams


• Provide support to other projects related to data analytics and generative AI as assigned from time to time

Your Profile

• Degree orDiploma student in actuarial science, mathematics, statistics or anyrelated quantitative fields


• Knowledgeof statistical software, such as R and Python, will be advantageous


• Experiencein handling large volumes of data


• Excellentcommunication and interpersonal skills


• Good command of English, both written and spoken


• Able towork independently as well as a strong team player


• This is a full-time internship, in which ideally the candidate can commit to 5 days per week from January 2027.
