Job description

Our esteemed client in the Engineering Industry is seeking an ACMV Project Engineer to join their dynamic team:

  • Employment Type: Permanent
  • Position: Project Engineer (ACMV/ HVAC)
  • Location: Kaki Bukit
  • Working Hours: 5.25 days (Monday to Friday, 9am to 6pm; Alternate Saturday, 9am to 1pm)
  • Salary Package: Up to $5,000 + Incentives + Variable Bonus

Job Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for planning and updating project schedules, budgets, and resource allocations, ensuring milestones are achieved and costs controlled.
  • Involved in the design, installation, testing, and commissioning of ACMV systems.
  • Conduct site inspections, coordinate with subcontractors, and address on-site issues to ensure compliance with specifications and quality standards.
  • Provide technical support and troubleshooting to internal teams and clients to minimise project delays.
  • Maintain accurate documentation including drawings, reports, and records; assist in tender preparation when required.
  • Support daily site administration and contribute to preliminary design and budgeting for design-and-build projects.

Job Requirements:

  • At least a Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent, with a minimum of 2 years of hands-on experience in ACMV/HVAC systems.
  • In-depth technical expertise in HVAC design, including equipment selection, load calculations, and ductwork layout.
  • Proficient in AutoCAD and other industry-standard design software for HVAC system planning and drafting.
  • Thorough understanding of local building codes and regulations pertaining to HVAC installations.
  • Able to start immediately or in short notice
