Job summary

Certis in Singapore seeks a Facilities Manager to lead mechanical and building maintenance, oversee contractors, and ensure safety and efficiency across sites.

The ideal candidate has a degree or diploma in Engineering or Building Services, at least 3 years in FM, and relevant certifications. You will coordinate with owners, vendors, and users, drive preventive maintenance, and control project costs to deliver reliable services.

Qualifications

• Recognized degree/diploma in Engineering, Building Services, Intelligent Building Technology, or related field.
• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in facilities management; construction projects may be considered.
• Certification in related fields (FSM/SCEM/LP/GMM/GMFM/WSH/SSC/SO/LEW) is an added advantage.
• Ability to work independently and demonstrate strong leadership.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills; a team player.

Responsibilities

• Plan, execute, and supervise all mechanical and building maintenance activities, including plumbing, ACMV, and building repairs.
• Manage term contractors and lead a team of technical officers and technicians in facilities operation, troubleshooting, preventive, and breakdown maintenance works.
• Provide consultancy on mechanical and building-related issues, coordinating with owners, contractors/vendors, and users on engineering functional requirements to ensure objectives are achieved.
• Review and enhance the preventive maintenance program to optimize efficiency and effectiveness.
• Ensure compliance with all domain and safety-related regulations, maintaining an updated library of related documentation.
• Take responsibility for project cost control and maintain quality service standards along with related documentation works.

Skills & Experience

Recognized degree/diploma in Engineering, Building Services, Intelligent Building Technology, or any related field.

Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in facilities management and related fields. Experience in projects and construction may also be considered.

Certification in related fields (e.g., FSM/SCEM/LP/GMM/GMFM/WSH/SSC/SO/LEW) will be considered an added advantage.

Ability to work independently, take ownership of assignments, and demonstrate strong leadership attributes.
