A local accounting firm is seeking an experienced accountant to maintain full sets of accounts and handle payroll matters. The ideal candidate should possess a Diploma or Degree in Accounting and have at least 2 years of relevant experience. Candidates with experience in audit and tax will have an advantage. Job description
- Maintain full set of periodic accounts and schedules complying with relevant the accounting policies and liaise with clients’, auditors and 3rd parties
- Handle payroll matters including staff claims and maintenance of leave records
- Prepare financial statements in compliance with relevant accounting standards, laws and regulations, and/or any other reporting requirements
- Prepare and submit direct (corporate and personal) and indirect (GST and withholding tax) taxes
- Perform other ad-hoc duties from time to time
