Job summary

MKG Consulting Pte. Ltd. in Singapore seeks an experienced Accountant to prepare and review full sets of accounts, handle consolidation, XBRL filing, GST returns, and tax computations in line with SFRS. Candidates should have at least 4 years in a professional services firm and be proficient in MS Office, QuickBooks and XERO.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of working experience in a professional services firm.
• Professional degree in accounting preferred.
• Proficient in MS Office, QuickBooks and XERO accounting software.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and review full set of accounts.
• Familiar with consolidation and updated with Singapore Financial Reporting Standards (SFRS).
• XBRL filing.
• Prepare and file GST return.
• Prepare and review unaudited financial statements: P&L, Balance Sheet and cash flow statements.
• Prepare tax computation: ECI and Corporate Tax.
• Be a team player yet capable of independent work; multi-task under pressure.
• Attention to detail and meticulousness.
• Perform ad-hoc tasks as required.

Responsibilities

• Able to prepare and review full set of accounts.
• Familiar with consolidation and updated with the latest SFRS accounting standards.
• XBRL Filing.
• Prepare and file GST return.
• Prepare and review unaudited financial statements, Profit and Loss, Balance Sheet and cash flow statements in compliance with Singapore Financial Reporting Standards.
• Prepare tax computation: file ECI and Corporate Tax
• Able to work well as a team player and is independent, responsible, able to multi-task, work under pressure, has a positive attitude, aptitude and is self-motivated.
• Have a keen eye to details, meticulous.
• Performing additional ad-hoc work as assigned.

Requirements

• At least 4 year(s) of working experience in professional services firm.
• Have a professional degree in accounting is preferred.
• Proficient in MS Office, Quickbooks and XERO accounting softwares.
