Our client, a well-established multinational company with a strong presence across Asia and beyond is seeking an experienced Accounts Payable Manager to lead their team. This role oversees the full spectrum of Accounts Payable operations and will play a key part in driving process improvements and compliance within a regional structure.

Reporting to the Financial Controller, you will be overseeing Accounts Payable, you will be responsible for leading a team in managing the end-to-end AP function, ensuring timely processing of supplier invoices and payments. You will drive month-end and year-end closing activities, maintain accurate supplier and employee data, and monitor daily cash flow to support operational needs. A key part of the role involves implementing strong internal controls, ensuring compliance with policies and tax requirements, and improving overall AP processes. You'll also coordinate with banks on financing matters, support treasury activities, and serve as the main liaison for audits and statutory reporting related to AP.

Skills and experience required

    Degree in Finance/Accounting, or related field with professional accreditation Proven experience in a similar AP leadership roleStrong leadership and team management capabilitiesExcellent attention to detail and ability to manage multiple prioritiesProficient in Microsoft Excel and financial systemsAble to thrive in a fast-paced, high-volume environmentStrong communication and stakeholder management skillsFamiliarity with procure-to-pay systems preferred
