A recruitment agency in Singapore is seeking an Accounts Payable Assistant for a 3-month contract. Responsibilities include invoice processing, matching invoices with purchase orders, vendor reconciliations, and maintaining records. Job Description:
• Invoice Processing: Review, verify, and enter supplier invoices in accordance with company policies.
• Document Matching: Match invoices with purchase orders and delivery receipts for validation and approval.
• Payment Support: Assist with the preparation of weekly payment runs, including batch listing and documentation.
• Vendor Reconciliation: Perform vendor statement reconciliations and follow up on discrepancies.
• Filing & Documentation: Maintain proper filing and record-keeping of AP documents, both digital and physical.
• Ad Hoc Tasks: Provide support for month-end close activities and other administrative duties as assigned.
Job Requirements: Min Diploma in Finance/Accountancy or similar w min 2 yrs of relevant experience in accounts payable
