Job summary

City Developments Limited in Singapore is seeking an experienced accountant to manage the full-set accounting close, prepare for year-end audits, and generate timely financial statements for management and statutory bodies.

The ideal candidate holds a degree in Business/Accountancy/ACCA with SAP exposure and at least 2 years of closing experience, preferably in the property sector. Strong communication and analytical skills are essential for success in this role.

Qualifications

• Degree in Business/Accountancy/ACCA or equivalent professional certification.
• Preferably knowledge of SAP system.
• Two years and above of accounting experience for full-set closing.
• Preferably with basic knowledge of property industry.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate the monthly management accounts closing for all the assigned companies.
• Prepare for the annual year end audit.
• Prepare annual tax computation.
• Prepare for annual budget exercise for investment and development companies.
• Prepare monthly GST reports and analysis/computations for quarterly GST filing.
• Update monthly management reports such as Investment & Development properties and hotel performance reports.
• Prepare financials for government statistical surveys.

• Prepare for annual budget exercise for investment and development companies.
• Prepare monthly Goods & Service Tax (GST) reports and analysis/computations for quarterly GST filing.
• Update monthly management reports eg Investment & Development properties report and hotel performance report.
• Prepare financials to Singapore Department of Statistics or any government authorities for statistical survey.

Job Requirements:

• Degree in Business/Accountancy/ACCA or equivalent professional certification.
• Preferably with knowledge of SAP system.
• 2 years and above of accounting experience for full set closing.
• Preferably with basic knowledge of property industry.
