Job Roles & Responsibilities:
- Take charge of Accounts Receivables and Accounts Payables.
- Process staff expenses and claims.
- Liaise with Group companies for related party transactions.
- Account for PPE and ROU assets (leases).
- Prepare documents for bank remittances to local and overseas recipients.
- Quarterly GST reporting and GST receivables/payables.
- Monthly/Quarterly closing of accounts, bank reconciliation and management reporting.
- Assist in preparing accounts schedules for the purpose of audit/review by auditors.
- Assist in preparing tax schedules to facilitate Tax Computations by the manager/tax agents.
- Other ad hoc accounting duties.
Job Specifications/Requirements:
- Accounting Diploma or Degree, or other relevant accounting or bookkeeping qualifications, such as ACCA.
- At least 5 years of hands-on experience in an accounting position, experience with “Full Set” preferred.
- Knowledge or experience in Singapore taxation would be highly appreciated.
- Hands-on experience in using MS Word/Excel and accounting information systems (experience with SunSystems is a bonus; training will be provided).
- Responsible, meticulous, proactive, able to multitask and work with minimal supervision.
