Job summary
A technology firm in Singapore is seeking an experienced Accounting Assistant to support the accounts function for APAC operations. The candidate should have a Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Accounting and at least 2 years of experience. Responsibilities include handling accounts payable and receivable, preparing financial reports, and liaising with auditors. Proficiency in Excel and knowledge of the ERP Epicor system are required.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in accounting.
- Able to work independently.
- Familiarity with tax (GST and income tax) regulations.
Responsibilities
- Support accounts function for APAC.
- Prepare monthly consolidation reports and year-end closing.
- Handle AP, AR, invoicing, and tax matters.

Responsibilities
- Support accounts function for APAC
- Understand the GST / tax impact on importation and exportation process
- Accounting data entry, Book-keeping,
- Handling AP, AR, invoicing, tax (GST and income tax) etc.
- Prepare monthly consolidation reports / month and year-end closing
- Liaise with various operation teams and external auditors
- Filing and other accounting ad-hoc assignment
Requirements
- Minimum Diploma level / Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting / LCCI or related discipline
- Accounting background with 2-year experience.
- Excellent co-ordination and organization skills self-motivated, initiative, good ability to prioritize tasks quickly and effectively.
- Strong interpersonal skills.
