Job description

As the Finance Accounts Officer/Assistant, you will be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:

  1. Reconcile and audit rate changes, discrepancies, corrections, voids, discounts, rebates, paid-out, house use, and complimentary use, gift vouchers, etc., ensuring accountability according to hotel standard operating procedures.
  2. Prepare daily Accounts Receivable work, including Direct Bills, Group Bills, Rooms, and Food & Beverage charges.
  3. Resolve inquiries related to Direct Bills by conducting thorough research, listening, and extending assistance to resolve problems.
  4. Perform control checks as mandated by Hilton’s policies, procedures, and SOX requirements.
  5. Ensure received goods are in good condition.
  6. Verify the quantity and weight of deliveries in accordance with purchase and delivery orders or invoices.
  7. Examine and unpack incoming deliveries; record shortages and reject damaged items.
  8. Route goods to respective departments.
  9. Trace and track deliveries to ensure timely arrival.
  10. Monitor the goods return process.
  11. Investigate and resolve situations where items received are not properly documented in the purchase order.
  12. Perform a quick check on open purchase orders daily and liaise with the ordering department for follow-up.
  13. Perform the receiving function on CheckSCM promptly.
  14. Assist in other ad hoc duties as assigned.
