A leading construction company in Singapore is seeking a Finance & Accounting Manager to oversee the finance team and manage financial reporting. The role includes full sets of accounts, GST submissions, and liaising with auditors. Candidates should hold a degree in accounting and have at least five years of relevant experience in the construction industry.
Responsibilities:
Oversee the Finance & Accounting function, which includes accounts payable, inventory management, taxation, financial reporting, and leadership to the team.
Able to handle full sets of account and generate monthly management & financial reports for management review and prepare quarterly consolidated financial statements
Review of construction schedule and assist in monitoring, tracking & reporting of project budget and expenditure.
Manage month-end closing activities
Prepare GST submission quarterly
Preparation of yearly estimated chargeable income (ECI) computation for the group
Liaise with auditors and tax agents for the group
Perform analysis of department Profit & Loss statement and produce any special reports required by the management team
Evaluate and ensure continual improvement in operational efficiency, costeffectiveness, and internal controls
Any ad-hoc duties as and when assigned by the management
Requirements:
Diploma / Degree in accounting or other professional accounting qualifications
Min 5 years of relevant experience in the construction industry or auditing experience in the construction industry
Meticulous, analytical, and problem solving
Strong working knowledge of MS Excel
