About the role
We are looking for a highly organized and detailed-oriented Accounts & HR Executive to join our A-Team. This is a full-time job. This dual role position requires an individual who can effectively manage both financial and human resource functions. You will be responsible for overseeing day-to-day accounting tasks while also handling HR functions.
Key responsibilities
Accounts responsibilities:
- Assist in handling admin work, e.g. chase payment and accounts receivable.
- Handle partial accounts, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards and regulations.
- Prepare and reconcile receipts and bank statements. Report on any discrepancies or issues to the Finance Manager.
- Knowledge of GST reporting.
- Assist the Finance Manager in preparing annual financial statements and consolidated data, as well as other reports and analysis as required, such as month-end closing activities.
- Participation in ad-hoc project, where required.
- Perform any other finance duties as assigned.
HR and Admin responsibilities:
- Assist in recruitment process, for office, sales and technical roles.
- Coordinate employee onboarding and offboarding processes, including documentation and clearance.
- Payroll support, including setup and maintaining the payroll system (Times Soft) to ensure smooth and accurate operations.
- Assist in Work Pass applications, renewals, and cancellations via MOM portals.
- Participate in MOM, government surveys, etc.
- Involve in implementation of HR processes and HR projects.
- Support the HR Manager in various administrative tasks assigned.
What we're looking for
- Minimum Diploma in Accountancy, HR or related field of studies.
- At least 3 years of relevant working experience.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and HR processes.
- Proficiency in written and spoken English.
- Experience with accounting software such as SAP, or other similar systems.
- Good knowledge of Excel and other Microsoft Office applications.
- Responsible, reliable, and meticulous, with attention to detail and accuracy.
- Good interpersonal skills and positive working attitude, with the ability to communicate effectively with internal and external parties.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
