Job description

This is a contract position for 4 months and we invite applicants who can commence work in Apr/May 2025.

The incumbent will support and assist the finance department in fulfilling its accounting responsibilities. This role involves specific tasks related to accounts receivable, accounts payable, tax filing, data compilation, billing, and other accounting functions. The person works with accruals, fixed asset accounting, and the monthly and yearly finalization of accounts for audit purposes.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Accounts Receivable, Payable, General Ledger, and staff reimbursement payment and follow-up approval from respective HOD/reporting managers

  • Fixed Assets Registration and depreciation computation according to fixed assets policy

  • Assist with the GST returns filing quarterly

  • Ensure compliance with local statutory reporting

  • Month-end closing activities

  • Support HFM reporting

  • Perform Balance Sheet Account Reconciliation monthly

  • Support in administrative works

  • Any other ad-hoc task assigned.

Job Requirements:

  • Diploma in Accountancy or its equivalent

  • With at least 3 years of experience in the related field with a mathematical background

  • Ability to prioritize and manage expectations

  • A team player with the ability to work independently

  • The ability to communicate articulately and efficiently with all levels of staff

  • Experience with Hyperion and Navision is a plus
