Job summary

A recruitment agency in Singapore is seeking an experienced Accountant to manage comprehensive accounting functions, including month-end close, compliance, and financial analysis. Candidates should hold a Diploma or ACCA Level 1 with at least 3 years of relevant experience. Proficiency in Excel and knowledge of SAP B1 are advantageous. Immediate availability is preferred.

Job description

Responsibilities:

• Handle full spectrum of accounting functions including billing, AR/AP, GL, reconciliations, revenue recognition, GST reporting, and fixed asset accounting.

• Manage month-end closing and prepare accurate financial reports.

• Submit government and grant claims.

• Ensure compliance with statutory requirements, tax filings, audits, and internal policies.

• Provide financial analysis to stakeholders; liaise with auditors, tax advisors, and regulators.

• Support process improvements and system implementations.

• Perform ad-hoc duties as assigned.

Requirements:

• Diploma or ACCA Level 1 or equivalent qualification.

• Minimum 3 years’ relevant accounting experience.

• SAP B1 knowledge is advantageous.

• Meticulous, independent, and proficient in Excel.

• Able to start immediately or within short notice preferred.

* Candidates with Degree in Accountancy and more years of experiences will be considered as Assistant Accountant (up to 5K basic salary).
