Job description

THE ROLE

Support Senior Reporting Manager in ensuring tax compliance under Singapore’s entity.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Financial Reporting and Analysis:

  • Prepare and maintain accurate financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.

  • Analyze financial data to identify trends, discrepancies, and opportunities for improvement.

  • Prepare reports for management to aid in strategic decision-making.

Tax Compliance and Audit

  • Ensure compliance with Singapore tax regulations, including GST, withholding tax and corporate income tax.

  • Manage timely tax reporting submissions.

  • Work with internal and external auditors on various audit requirements.

  • Collaborate with Group Tax team to identify tax savings and avoid tax leakage.

Financial Planning and Budgeting:

  • Support budgets and forecasts activities.

  • Monitor cash flow and implement strategies to optimize working capital.

Process Improvement:

  • Identify opportunities to improve existing financial processes and systems.

  • Contribute to the implementation of new financial technologies and solutions.

Others

  • Collate information for annual insurance renewal

  • Any other adhoc duties as and when assigned

PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE/ QUALIFICATIONS

  • Degree in Accounting or equivalent

  • More than 3 years of working experience in finance/ accounting, taxation management or similar experience will be preferred

  • Fair understanding of Financial Statement & Singapore taxation

  • Good team player and attention to detail

  • Strong communication skills with good numeracy and analytical skills
