A leading accounting firm in Singapore is seeking a Senior Accounts Executive who will be responsible for managing clients’ accounts and mentoring junior staff. Handle full sets of accounts for clients.
Provide professional client service and ensure reporting timelines are met.
Set up charts of accounts for new accounting clients.
Record receipts and payments in accounting software.
Prepare month-end payments and online banking transactions.
Responsible for month-end closing process and preparation of monthly financial report for management purposes.
Prepare GST report and filing.
Update cashflow report.
Audit liaison and drafting of financial statements.
Preparation of XBRL submission.
Compute monthly payroll and year-end remuneration returns. (e.g., Form IR8A)
Liaise with banks for the opening and closing of clients’ bank accounts.
Other related accounting assignments as assigned.
In addition, Senior Account Executives are responsible for mentoring, guiding, and reviewing junior team member's work.
Requirements:
Candidates with experience in managing multiple entities’ full sets of accounts & consolidation / prior work experience in professional firms will be advantageous.
Able to multi-task in a fast-moving environment.
Self-motivated, meticulous and customer-service oriented.
A good team player.
Candidates with extensive experience may be considered for a higher role.
Senior Accounts Executive:
Candidate must possess a Degree in an Accountancy or equivalent.
At least 3-5 years of relevant working experience in handling full set of accounts.
Accounts Executive:
Candidate must possess at least a Diploma / Degree in an Accountancy or equivalent.
Minimum 1 year of relevant working experience in partial or full sets of accounts full set of accounts preferred.
Candidates who are currently studying / attained Accounting Professional Certificate (ACCA, CPA are advantageous)
Candidates without prior experience will also be considered.
