Process and issue invoices, debit notes, and credit notes in a timely manner.
Ensure proper documentation and approvals are obtained before processing any manual invoices, credit memos, and adjustments.
Prepare Statements of Account weekly and during month-end.
Verify and ensure all accounts payable transactions are approved and recorded promptly.
Update and ensure vendor invoices, staff claims, and miscellaneous payments are arranged within credit terms.
Perform vendor reconciliations to ensure all transactions are properly recorded.
Prepare monthly bank reconciliations and maintain bank records.
Conduct periodic stock takes and finalize inventory adjustments.
Participate in yearly fixed asset inspections.
Assist in preparing routine reports and maintaining document filing.
Prepare general ledger entries, including prepayments, accruals, payroll, inventory, fixed assets, and bank charges.
Coordinate with internal and external auditors, secretaries, bankers, and government authorities to ensure compliance with relevant legislation.
Assist with ad-hoc and month-end accounting duties as assigned.
Diploma in Finance/Accounting with at least 3 years of relevant experience.
Proficient in communication and presentation skills.
Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
Experience in the manufacturing industry is an advantage.
Strong analytical skills and meticulous attention to detail.
Ability to work independently.
