An established industry player is seeking a detail-oriented Accounts Executive to enhance client relationships and manage financial data. In this role, you will be the primary point of contact for clients, ensuring professional communication and timely responses to inquiries. You will also handle essential accounting tasks, including managing accounts receivables and payables, preparing financial reports, and ensuring compliance with tax regulations. Senior / Junior Accounts Executive
Salary: $2800 - $4000
Working Days & Hours: 5 days, 9:00am - 6 pm
Working Location: CBD Area
Roles & Responsibilities
The main responsibilities of the role will include (but not limited to):
Act as a point of contact for the clients on their day to day affairs, with supervision where necessary, and ensure that all communication, whether written or spoken, is conducted in a professional manner;
Maintain a good relationship with clients;
Respond to and deal with client queries in a professional and timely manner;
Ensure that the manager is kept up to date with any issues arising from the client or its activities.
Prepare financial data for entry into the accounting system;
Ensure all receipts are updated in the accounting system on a timely basis;
Handle the banking of cheques into bank accounts on a timely basis;
Manage accounts receivables and accounts payables;
Prepare bank reconciliation and audit schedules;
Prepare monthly payslips for payroll purposes;
Handle account closing up to the monthly trial balance, income statement, and balance sheet;
Handle quarterly Goods and Services Tax filing;
Manage corporate secretarial documents and annual return filing;
Compile accounts or reports (preparation of unaudited report);
Liaise with external auditors;
Handle corporate tax computation and tax return filing.
Requirements
Minimum Diploma/Degree in Accountancy/Finance;
At least 2 years of professional firm experience will be an advantage;
Experience in auditing or tax (corporate income tax) will be an advantage;
Experience with Quickbooks, Xero, or SAGE will be an advantage.
