Job Title: Accounts Executive (GL)

Location: Singapore

Your New Company

Our client, a well-established multinational in the semiconductor and electronics manufacturing space, is expanding their Singapore team. With a strong global footprint and a focus on high-mix, low-volume manufacturing, they offer a dynamic environment for professionals looking to grow their careers in finance and supply chain.

Your New Role

• Perform cost analysis to identify opportunities for margin enhancement
• Analyze monthly financial variances by comparing actual results to budget
• Manage budgets and provide insights into cost-related discrepancies
• Prepare accurate and timely monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports including financial statements, balance sheet schedules, and reconciliations
• Coordinate with auditors and tax agents to ensure compliance
• Participate in month-end closing activities, management reporting, and presentations
• Prepare bi-monthly SST and LMW reports for Malaysia import/export compliance
• Ensure timely submission of Malaysia E-invoices
• Assist in quarterly internal and external audits
• Lead automation and process transformation initiatives while improving existing processes and policies
• Handle any other ad hoc duties as assigned

Key Qualifications for Success

• Degree in Accountancy or equivalent professional qualification
• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment
• Proficient in SAP with strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills
• Solid understanding of financial principles, cost accounting, and manufacturing processes
• Strong communication, presentation, and influencing skills across all organizational levels
• Positive attitude, self-motivated, and capable of leading, coaching, and motivating a team within a matrix organization
