About the Company

At the House of YM (Y&C), each team member is entrusted with a portfolio of clients from a wide range of industries. This role offers hands-on exposure to various functions including corporate secretarial services, bookkeeping, payroll, preparation of unaudited financial statements, corporate income tax, and Goods and Services Tax (GST) compliance.

Our integrated, one-stop service model is designed to equip employees with the skills and knowledge required to handle the full spectrum of accounting and regulatory compliance tasks for businesses in Singapore.

We are also proud to be an Accredited Training Organisation (ATO), allowing our staff to fulfill the practical experience requirements necessary to obtain the Chartered Accountant designation during their employment with us.

Job Responsibilities

Corporate Secretarial

- Prepare directors' and members' resolutions.

- Handle statutory filings with the Accounting and Corporate Regulatory Authority (ACRA).

Bookkeeping & Payroll

- Perform full set accounting and bookkeeping tasks.

- Conduct bank reconciliations and prepare accounting schedules.

- Manage payroll processing and ensure timely submissions of CPF contributions, IR8A, and IR21 forms.

Unaudited Financial Statements

- Prepare unaudited financial statements in compliance with applicable accounting standards.

- Apply a working knowledge of the Singapore Financial Reporting Standards (FRS).

GST & Corporate Income Tax

- Prepare and file quarterly GST returns.

- Compute and file corporate income tax returns in compliance with local tax laws.

- Maintain strong understanding of Singapore's corporate tax framework and GST regulations.

Client Communication & Project Management

- Respond promptly to client inquiries and proactively provide updates on service progress.

- Manage multiple client portfolios and meet tight deadlines.

- Support ad hoc assignments and responsibilities as assigned by the Manager or Director.

Job Requirements

- Diploma or Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

- 2-3 years of relevant experience, including hands-on experience managing full set accounts.

- Proficient in accounting software such as Xero; familiarity with platforms like QuickBooks or MYOB is advantageous.

- Strong command of Microsoft Excel and working knowledge of MS Office (Word, Outlook).

- Solid understanding of Singapore Financial Reporting Standards, tax regulations, and GST compliance.

- Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving skills and the ability to accurately interpret financial data.

- Meticulous, detail-oriented, and well-organized; able to manage multiple priorities effectively.

- Capable of working independently with minimal supervision in a fast-paced environment.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a collaborative attitude.

- High level of integrity and professionalism in handling confidential financial information.

- Proactive and willing to continuously learn and adapt in a dynamic work environment.

Remuneration and final job title will be commensurate with the candidate’s qualificationsandexperience.
