Job summary

Job description

Job Descriptions:

  • Handle full set of accounts including General Ledger, Accounts Payable (AP), and Accounts Receivable (AR).

  • Perform monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closing activities.

  • Prepare accurate financial statements, management reports, and supporting schedules.

  • Maintain and reconcile bank statements and other financial records.

  • Manage and maintain the fixed assets register.

  • Prepare GST submissions and ensure compliance with tax regulations.

  • Review and verify staff expense claims and ensure adherence to company policies.

  • Liaise with auditors, tax agents, and other external parties for audit and compliance matters.

  • Monitor cash flow and assist in budgeting and forecasting activities.

  • Ensure proper documentation and filing of financial records.

  • Support continuous improvement of accounting processes and internal controls.

Job Requirements:

  • Diploma or Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.

  • Minimum 2–3 years of experience in handling full set of accounts.

  • Proficient in accounting software (e.g. QuickBooks, MYOB, Xero, or ERP systems).

  • Strong Microsoft Excel and overall MS Office skills.

  • Knowledge of local financial regulations and GST requirements.

  • Meticulous, detail-oriented, and highly organized.

  • Able to work independently and meet tight deadlines.

  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
