A leading employment services provider is seeking an experienced Accountant to manage the full accounting process, including preparation of financial statements and compliance with GST and CPF regulations. The role involves multitasking and ensuring accurate reporting while working closely with auditors. The ideal candidate should possess a degree in Accounting and have at least three years of relevant experience, along with a strong understanding of accounting principles.
Job Responsibilities:
Handle full set of accounts including AP, AR, GL, and month-end closing
Prepare monthly and annual financial statements, management reports, and cash flow analysis.
Manage bank reconciliations, intercompany transactions, and fixed asset schedules.
Monitor and report on accounts receivable/payable aging.
Ensure accurate and timely submission of GST reports, CPF, and tax-related matters.
Coordinate with external auditors and tax agents.
Inventory and Stock Accounting
Maintain proper documentation and filing of accounting records.
Handle monthly payroll processing for all staff (including timesheets, OT, allowances, and deductions).
Ensure accurate and timely submission of CPF, IRAS, and other statutory contributions.
Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and other ad hoc finance/admin duties as required.
What you'll be doing
· To handle full set of accounts including preparation of General Ledger, AR, AP, Balance sheet, P&L for monthly and yearly reporting.
· Process invoices, receipts, payments, claims and record into the accounting system on a timely basis.
· Liaise with vendors and internal teams for payment processing.
· Maintain monthly and yearly schedules for management & audit.
· Preparation of bank reconciliation reports & reconciliation of monthly balances.
· Prepare quarterly GST reconciliation for submission.
· Support on queries from external auditors & tax agents.
· Renewal of insurances.
· Perform general office administration and support duties.
· Any other ad-hoc duties as assigned.
What we're looking for
· Degree /Diploma in Accounting.
· At least 3 years of relevant working experience with experience in full set accounts.
· Good understanding of accounting principles.
· Possess initiative and ability to multitask.
· High level of accuracy, confidentiality, efficiency and accountability.
