Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accounts Executive to manage financial records, oversee project-based accounting, and support overall financial operations within our construction.

practices, budgeting, and cost control.

Job Description/ Key Responsibilities:

01. Project Accounting & Cost Tracking

a. Maintain accurate records of project costs, including materials, labor,
subcontractor payments, and overheads.
b. Monitor project budgets and report on cost variances.
c. Assist project managers in financial planning and budgeting.

02. Accounts Payable & Receivable

a. Process invoices, purchase orders, and payment requests.
b. Manage payments to vendors, subcontractors, and suppliers.
c. Generate and follow up on client invoices and ensure timely collections.

03. Financial Reporting

a. Support month-end and year-end closing processes..
b. Reconcile bank statements and general ledger accounts.

04. Compliance & Documentation

a. Ensure compliance with tax regulations, financial laws, and company policies.
b. Maintain accurate and organized financial documentation and audit trails.

05. Coordination & Support

a. Liaise with site engineers, project managers, and procurement teams to verify costs and support decision-making.
b. Support the Finance Manager in preparing financial forecasts and budgets.

Requirement:

01. Diploma in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
02. 2+ years of accounting experience, preferably in the marine construction.
03. Proficient in accounting software (Xero).
04. Strong understanding of accounting principles and construction project costing.
05. Excellent analytical, communication, and organizational skills.
06. Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.

Preferred Qualifications:

01. Knowledge of local marine construction regulations and taxation.
02. Experience with project-based accounting systems.
03. Familiarity with progress billing and retention accounting.
