Job summary

A financial services company in Singapore is seeking an experienced Accountant to manage full accounts, prepare invoices, and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements. The ideal candidate will have a degree in Accountancy and at least 5 years of relevant experience, along with strong skills in Microsoft Excel and leadership capabilities.

Job description

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Handle full set of accounts

  • Prepare invoices, debit and credit notes for customers

  • Manage revenue & receivable accounting and internal audit functions

  • Ensure accurate and timely closing of ledger systems on a monthly basis

  • Preparation of GST report

  • Bank reconciliation and journal entries

  • Liaise with operations on revenue-related matters

  • Prepare monthly management reporting

  • Manage cash flow and treasury function

  • Ensure insurance coverage for pledged stocks is updated monthly

  • Implement, review and improve internal control

  • Liaise with banks, external auditors, tax consultants and corporate secretarial agent

  • Ensure compliance with group accounting policies, SFRS/IFRS, statutory, tax and regulatory requirements

  • Ensure that all financial reporting obligations are met in relation to government grant claims

  • Any other ad-hoc duties as assigned

REQUIREMENTS

  • Diploma / Degree in Accountancy

  • Minimum 5 years of relevant working experience

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint

  • Detail-oriented and hands-on with excellent leadership, organizational, prioritization, and multitasking skills

  • A team player with a positive attitude and strong interpersonal skills

  • Analytical, meticulous and a strong communicator

  • Proficient in Oracle NetSuite is an added advantage
