Job description

Job Description:

  1. Prepare and send invoices to customers for construction projects.
  2. Manage customer accounts and follow up on outstanding payments.
  3. Handle cash receipts and deposits.
  4. Reconcile customer accounts and resolve discrepancies.
  5. Process supplier invoices for payment.
  6. Manage vendor relationships and ensure timely payments.
  7. Perform three-way matching (PO, invoice, and receiving report) for accuracy.
  8. Maintain accurate and up-to-date general ledger records.
  9. Process accounting transactions, including journal entries.
  10. Assist with monthly, quarterly, and annual closing procedures.
  11. Reconcile bank statements and other financial accounts.
  12. Prepare and submit GST returns to the Inland Revenue Authority of Singapore (IRAS).
  13. Maintain GST records and ensure compliance with regulations.
  14. Generate financial reports, such as income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
  15. Analyze financial data and prepare reports for management.

Job Requirements:

  1. Degree / diploma in accountancy or any other relevant field.
  2. At least 2 years of accounting experience. Working experience in the construction sector is an added advantage.
  3. Meticulous, with an eye for detail.
  4. Candidates with prior experience with IFCA accounting software will have a significant advantage, but it is not a must.
