Job Summary:

We are seeking a meticulous and proactive Accounts Executive to manage our full set of accounts using MYOB/ABSS accounting software. The ideal candidate will ensure accurate and timely financial reporting, support audits, and maintain robust financial controls.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage full set of accounts, including Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), General Ledger (GL), bank reconciliations, Profit & Loss (P&L), and balance sheets.
  • Prepare monthly financial reports and cash flow statements.
  • Process vendor payments, staff claims, and customer billings.
  • Perform monthly closings and reconcile accounting ledgers.
  • Handle Goods and Services Tax (GST) submissions, Central Provident Fund (CPF), and Inland Revenue Authority of Singapore (IRAS) filings in compliance with local regulations.
  • Maintain fixed asset registers and prepayment schedules.
  • Liaise with auditors, tax agents, and relevant government authorities.
  • Ensure accurate data entry and maintenance in MYOB/ABSS accounting system.
  • Support ad hoc financial analysis and administrative tasks as needed.
Requirements:
  • Diploma or Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • 2–5 years of relevant accounting experience.
  • Proficiency in MYOB/ABSS accounting software is essential.
  • Strong knowledge of Singapore accounting standards and tax regulations (e.g., GST, IRAS).
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel (e.g., pivot tables, VLOOKUP).
  • Meticulous, organized, and able to meet deadlines independently.
  • Bilingual in English and Mandarin preferred (to liaise with Chinese-speaking clients or vendors).
