Job description

Job Responsibilities:


  • Involve in the day-to-day accounting operations, including precise and timely data entry for Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and expense tracking across multi-currency accounts.
  • Administer staff claims and expense reimbursements promptly and accurately.
  • Reconcile accounts, including bank reconciliations and intercompany balances.
  • Maintain and update the Fixed Asset Ledger, including Right of Use Assets according to Financial Reporting Standard.
  • Ensure adherence to tax compliance requirements, including timely GST/VAT filings and liaise with tax authorities for Corporate Income Tax.
  • Prepare comprehensive documentation and schedules to support internal and external audits.
  • Monitor and enforce internal controls and financial policies to mitigate risks.
  • Prepare journal entries, accounting schedules, financial statements, and management reports with high accuracy.
  • Review and analyse financial and project performances, including variance analysis.
  • Monitor daily cash balances, bank positions and short-term liquidity.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline financial processes and enhance efficiency.
  • Support ad-hoc projects and other finance-related tasks as required.

Job Requirements:

  • Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
  • 3–5 years of experience in diverse accounting roles; experience in engineering industry is a plus.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Strong knowledge of Financial Reporting Standard, tax compliance & local regulations.
  • Familiar with AutoCount accounting system will be added advantage.
