Job summary

ITG Resources (Singapore) Pte. Ltd. is seeking a capable accounting professional to handle daily accounting, prepare financial statements, and liaise with IRAS on tax matters.

The role involves cooperation with Group Headquarters on system upgrades to improve automation and data quality, and supporting external and tax audits. Ideal candidates have a Bachelor’s degree in Finance/Accounting, 3+ years of accounting experience, and strong English and Chinese communication skills.

Job Description & Requirements

Responsibilities

1. Responsible for daily accounting of the Company, preparation of financial statements on schedule, and submission of various group statistical reports.
2. Liaise with Inland Revenue Authority of Singapore (IRAS) for tax matters; complete statutory filings including corporate income tax, GST and withholding tax in a timely manner, and proactively monitor updates to tax regulations.
3. Cooperate with Group Headquarters to promote financial system upgrades as required, so as to improve automation and the quality of financial data.
4. Support external audit, tax audit and the preparation of final accounts statements.
5. Organise and file electronic and physical accounting vouchers.
6. Undertake other tasks assigned by the supervisor

Qualifications

1. Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Audit or related disciplines. Candidates with Chinese Accountant Title, ACCA or CPA qualification are preferred.
2. Minimum 3 years of working experience in accounting.
3. Familiar with Singapore financial and tax regulations, with practical experience liaising with IRAS.
4. Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both English and Chinese.
5. Meticulous, calm, strong problem-solving skills and ability to multi-task.
6. Proficient in Excel; experience in SAP is preferred.
